	PGDM - Textiles /Apparel / Retail Management
	Eligibility Any degree in any discipline. Admission Process Students for this program are selected based on the MAT, JCCAT and CAT or the Written Test conducted by the Institute followed by Group Discussion and Interview * Course Duration 2 Years Reservation As per Government of India rules FEE Details Rs 35,000 Per Semester
	* The SVPISTM written test consist 60 multiple choice questions covering the following areas to be answered in one hour. General Mathematics to test mathematical skills and proficiency in data analysis and sufficiency; General English to test language comprehension skills; General knowledge and current affairs to test on intelligence and critical reasoning and awareness of Indian and Global Environment. The Group Discussion will be on a topic of current interest, to be chosen by the participants from among alternatives made available by the Institute at the commencement of the discussion.
	Post-Graduate Diploma Management (PGDM) – Textiles

	The two year full time course (PGDM) – Textiles is designed to offer core management learning for textile professionals. Addressing the growing complexity and competition of textile business, this program provides the right synergy of technology and management aligned to the specific needs of textiles industry. The course runs through four semesters. The first two semesters comprise of fundamental management training with specific application in textiles industry. This is complemented with industrial interaction, seminars, projects etc. to develop and enhance the latent skills of the students. A summer project between the second and third semester provides needed practical exposure to industry and its functioning. The third semester takes the students through the advanced areas of textiles industry management. In the fourth and final semester students specialize in the functional areas and conduct an extensive industry based project. This provides thorough knowledge and understanding in specific domain.
	Post-Graduate Diploma Management (PGDM) – Apparel

	The two-year full time course (PGDM) is oriented to the needs of fast growing apparel industry covering knitting and garment clusters in the country. Creating a cadre of specialized professionals with technical and managerial knowledge is the gist of this course. The course is divided into four semesters. The first semester deals with basic textiles, knitting technology and fundamentals of management. The second semester comprised of an advanced study of apparel, marketing, finance aspects of management interspersed with industry project. The third semester deals with study of Apparel Production Technology, Quality Control and Textiles, Management Information System, International Marketing and Entrepreneurship Development with two electives of their choice. The fourth semester, the students specializes in their field of interest like HR, Marketing, Production, IT and Fashion Management apart from two core courses on finishing in garment and textile costing. This provides a comprehensive knowledge of theoretical and practical facets of the apparel Industry.
	Post-Graduate Diploma Management (PGDM) – Retail Management

	Post-Graduate Certificate in Management (PGCM) – Home Textiles

	IGNOU-SVPISTM- MBA (Textiles Management)
	Title Description Seats 30 Course Duration 4 semesters (Approx. 90 working days per semester) The students have the choice of paying the entire course fee initially or can pay semester wise given below.   Fee 1st Semester: Rs. 50000/- 2nd Semester: Rs.50000/- 3rd and 4th Semester: Rs.100000/- (3rd and 4th semester fees to be paid together) Eligibility Graduate (10 + 2+ 3) and above with a minimum 50% from UGC recognized University. 	SVPISTM in association with IGNOU has designed programmes in the area of Textile Management. Currently MBA (Textile Management) is offering at the campus. The following courses are planned to be offered under the collaboration in a phased manner.
	M.Phil & Ph.D Programs in Management with specialization in Textile and Apparel management Short term Skill Development Courses MBA – Textile Management It is a collaboration effort of India’s unique SVPISTM and World renowned university IGNOU MBA degree is awarded by IGNOU and Certificate of field training is awarded by SVPISTM It is a blend of Academic concepts with proven contemporary practices Content is written by experts drawn from premier institutes and senior professionals from the Industry. 	Admission Procedure
	Students for this program are selected based on CAT/CET/MAT/ATMA/XAT/OPENMAT/TANCET sore or the entrance exam conducted at the school followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
	Fee Structure
	The students have the choice of paying the entire course fee initially or can pay semester wise given below.
